This five-day feature length workshop will allow me to guide students through the process of building a strong under painting and progressing toward a finer finished portrait.
Each day, I will spend the morning demonstrating and walking students through my thinking and painting process, and in the afternoons, the attendees will all paint together while I offer group and individual guidance to keep everyone’s paintings on track.
Although portraiture will be our focus, the techniques and principles we cover can be applied to any type of oil painting: landscape, figure, still-life, etc.
